Meet Monica Grijalva, LCSW

I value the power of connection and storytelling. We all carry past experiences, present expectations, and future desires; while simultaneously holding our own beliefs around mental health and mental wellness.

As a bilingual (English/Native Spanish), licensed therapist, I believe in holding space for all parts that make you, you. I am committed to meeting you where you are on your journey of mental clarity and life transition. Life can be complicated; you are not alone.

I take pride in providing a safe, brave, non-judgement, supportive, culturally attuned environment, in which my clients feel heard. I welcome my clients to explore what they are ready for without the burden of feeling pressured.

Experience

As a Mexican-American, bilingual, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I understand therapy is not a one size fits all service. I use an integrative approach that best meets my client’s wished outcome(s). I have been trained in a wide range of modalities and interventions, including advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and have been trained in completing immigration evaluations.
